My name is Daniela Keller. I am a professional Skate Canada coach. I was born in Germany and moved to Canada in October 2009. I am married and we have a baby daughter.

I have been skating since the age of 5, skated competitive up to the senior level and I have taken ballet and rhythmic sport gymnastic lessons. After my competitions I turned professional and skated 8 years as a soloist and pair skater in ice shows all over the world. I had the pleasure of working with the world's best choreographers and was able to gain a lot of experience.

During my time off in between shows, I have coached in Germany and the United States and choreographed programs up to senior level.

I am very excited to work in Port Alberni and hope to bring a lot of joy to the club and hope that the kids have a positive skating experience.

To me it is important to help each skater reach the top of their own potential. Combining off ice and flexibility training, also edge classes on the ice etc. I would like to help the students to express themselves with their body and to feel rhythm and music!

		Blaine Moore - Figure Skating Coach Blaine Moore is a NCCP level IV (level V in progress) with 30+ years experience. Blaine is the only coach on Vancouver Island with NCCP level IV. He also holds C.E.P Gold status. Blaine also has been a coach/trainer of National champions, International Medalists, and Olympic Competitors. Blaine also provides skate/equipment sales and sharpening.

		Mike Mowat - Canskate Hockey Coach Mike Mowat is a well know member of the hockey community. He is the BC Hockey District Coach Co-ordinator, NCCP course conductor, Hockey Canada skills & drills instructor, advanced level I certified, level III theory and is also the initiation program instructor. We are very lucky to have him join our club.
