Jean is a NCCP level III certified coach with Partial level IV and 30 years of coaching. In that time she has had skater’s go as far as to qualify to Canadians. Among Jean’s accomplishments she has been named BC/YT section coach of the year in 2001 and awarded the skate Canada club and recreation coach award of excellence in 2008. Jean also is a game plan provincial coaching team member and also volunteers to assist the Vancouver island regional development team. Greg is a NCCP level III with 28 years coaching experience. He has NCCP level IV task #9, Training Elite Athletes, task #16, and Long Term Athlete Development. Greg is a senior national competitor. He is a five time Provincial Champion and three time National Medalist. He has NCCP level I Speed Skate and is CanPower certified. He has Diamond Dance, Gold Interpretive Dance, Senior Competitive Dance and USFSA Gold Dance. Greg was with Disney World on Ice for seven years.

Frances has been an active member of the Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club for many years . She has completed her Skate Canada CanSkate training, has recently graduated from ADSS and will be continuing her education in Port Alberni. The Mount Arrowsmith Skating Club welcomes Frances to our CanSkate team.

Mike is a Skate Canada Certified CanPower Coach. Mike has been coaching with AVMHA on and off for the past 15 years. Born and raised in the Alberni Valley, he first took to the ice as a figure skater until the age of 7. This skill in skating led him to hockey and he started his first season playing competitive hockey until the age of 13.
Darin Oscienny – CanPower Coach – Contact
Darin is a Skate Canada Certified CanPower Coach. Born and raised in Port Alberni, Darin graduated from ADSS in 2009 and has managed Magic Moments fro the past five years. Darin stays as active as possible by playing ice hockey, ball hockey and soccer. He has been involved in ice hockey since he was 5 years old and also helps coach hockey when he has free time. Darin is very excited for the upcoming CanPower Program.
